The Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu, Hon. Atta Issah, has donated 1,500 modern mono desks to schools across the constituency.
He also announced that a further 1,500 desks are being transported from Accra to Tamale, bringing the total number of desks to 3,000.
The furniture will be distributed to selected senior high, junior high and basic schools in the constituency.
The newly built school at Dugshegu is among the institutions expected to benefit from the donation.
Hon. Atta Issah said the intervention was intended to improve classroom conditions and support effective teaching and learning.
School authorities and community representatives welcomed the donation, saying the desks would help address furniture shortages in schools across Sagnarigu.
