A delegation representing the business mogul Alhaji Fuzak has presented food, livestock and GH¢10,000 each in cash to five traditional chiefs in the Dagbon Kingdom in a show of sympathy following the death of Yaa Naa Abubakari Mahama.

The gifts handed over on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of FUZAK Construction  included 20 bags of perfume rice, 20 cartons of vegetable oil, 10 bags of maize and a bull at each palace. The delegation was led by Farouk Kanawu, chairman of the Tamale Central Constituency of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Delegates visited the palaces of Naa Yab Kuga Naa, Naa Bapre Mion Lana, Naa Bakpem Karnaa, Bakpem Yoo Naa and Kampakuya Naa, the yet‑to‑be‑enskinned regent of Dagbon, presenting the items to support traditional funeral rites.

Alhaji Veron, an aide to Alhaji Fuzak, signed the book of condolence on the businessman’s behalf and conveyed his sympathies to the royal family and the people of Dagbon.

The chiefs thanked the donor for the gesture, praying for blessings and good health for Alhaji Fuzak and praising his solidarity during the period of mourning. The contributions are intended to help cover ceremonial needs and ease the financial burden associated with traditional funeral observances.
