Felix Kwakye Ofosu: Last-minute appointments will be reviewed under Mahama

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the spokesperson for the Mahama Transition Team, has disclosed plans to reverse all appointments made after December 7, 2024.

This decision follows allegations of last-minute recruitments and an unexplained GH₵240 million payment to a business partner of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

Kwakye Ofosu expressed concerns about the timing of these actions, warning that they could further strain the public purse amid Ghana’s ongoing economic challenges.

In an interview on Eyewitness News with Selorm Adonoo, he assured that the Mahama Transition Team would thoroughly scrutinize all such appointments and financial transactions.

“We will be scrutinising all such appointments. So, all appointments that do not meet the basic regulations laid down or are in violation of recruitment processes will be respected. Tourism packages

“So, it is not in the interest of both those who are being recruited and those who are doing the recruitment to carry on any further. Because they will only be leading the unfortunate recruits on the path to nowhere,” he stated.
