Accra, October 28, 2025 – GoldBod Jewellery, a subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board, has officially appointed celebrated media entrepreneur Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray) and award-winning actress Joselyn Dumas as its new Brand Ambassadors, in a move aimed at promoting Ghana’s gold craftsmanship and elevating the country’s global jewellery brand presence.
The announcement was made at a colourful ceremony held at the GoldBod Head Office in Accra, attended by industry stakeholders, celebrities, and members of the creative arts and jewellery sectors.
Speaking at the unveiling, the Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod Jewellery, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, Esq., described the partnership as a strategic initiative to project Ghanaian ingenuity in gold jewellery fabrication and advance local value addition to the nation’s mineral resources.
“Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas represent excellence and authenticity, the very values that define the GoldBod Jewellery brand,” Mr. Gyamfi said. “Their appointment as brand ambassadors marks a major milestone in our mission to promote Ghana’s rich gold heritage and position the country as a leading hub for authentic, ethically sourced gold ornaments in Africa.”
He added that the collaboration aligns with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of transforming Ghana into a continental centre for the production and export of high-quality gold jewellery and ornaments.
The newly appointed ambassadors expressed their enthusiasm about joining the GoldBod family, pledging to use their influence and platforms to highlight the artistry, innovation, and cultural significance of Ghana’s gold industry.
Under their ambassadorial mandate, Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas will lead brand campaigns, public engagements, and media outreach activities to promote GoldBod’s diverse range of fine gold and diamond jewellery, bespoke ornaments, and luxury accessories, all crafted through sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
GoldBod Jewellery’s partnership with the two prominent figures is expected to strengthen its brand identity both locally and internationally, reaffirming Ghana’s status as a proud custodian of world-class gold artistry and design excellence.
