Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has strongly dismissed recent allegations made by Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, which suggest the involvement of the current administration in drug-related activities.
Speaking on the news file, a program on Joy News, Mr. Gyamfi described the claims as baseless and a deliberate attempt to tarnish the government’s image. He stressed that the accusations are entirely false and lack any factual grounding.
“A reverend minister has peddled outright falsehoods against the government and is now making a mockery of himself,” Mr. Gyamfi stated, condemning the attempt to link the government to cocaine trafficking.
He further emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law and maintaining Ghana’s international reputation as a peaceful and law-abiding nation.
The PMMC boss called on the public to treat the allegations with the contempt they deserve and urged responsible citizens and media outlets to join in defending the integrity of state institutions against unfounded attacks.
