Enough Of This Sanctimonious Nonsense!

Respectfully, we do not have short memories. We remember how you treated our comrades who were recruited in 2016.

We remember how some of them lost their lives as a result of politically motivated transfers.

Painfully, one such tragic case is that of our brother and comrade, Senior Ahmed Fareed, of blessed memory.

Senior Fareed was an intelligent young man full of aspirations. In fact, he was one of the finest communicators of the NDC in the Northern Region.

When the NPP took power, they decided he shouldn’t remain in Tamale, obviously because of his dedication to the NDC.

As a result, he was transferred from the Tamale Teaching Hospital, where he had worked for several years, to Karaga. No one in the NPP even noticed that cruelty. No one condemned it.

Traveling daily from Tamale to Karaga on a motorbike was not just exhausting but also extremely risky.

Yet, he had no choice he had a wife, children, and family to cater for. This grueling routine became his life.

Then one morning, while making his usual journey to Karaga, he was involved in a tragic accident and lost his life. I still remember his funeral vividly. I confronted some NPP communicators who had the audacity to show up.

I told them to their faces that they were shameless for causing the death of a man and still pretending to mourn.

Today, these same people want to preach morality to us about appointment revocations? Spare us this hypocrisy!

I do not wish for what happened to Senior Fareed and other comrades to happen to anyone in the NPP. But if the NDC decides to serve them their own bitter dose of what they inflicted on our comrades, then let them be ready!
They have not seen anything yet.

Continue resting with God, Senior!
