Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza has served as a legislator in the Parliament of Ghana since 2013, representing the Adaklu Constituency in the Volta Region.

Hon. Agbodza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He furthered his education in the United Kingdom, earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture from the East London University and a Professional Practice Qualification in Architecture from the University of Westminster.
He is a member in good standing with several prestigious professional bodies, including the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the Ghana Institute of Architects (GIA), the Architects Registration Board (ARB) of the United Kingdom, and the Architects Registration Council (ARC) of Ghana.

Legislative Career
Since entering Parliament in 2013, Hon. Agbodza has been a prominent voice in shaping Ghana’s legislative framework, particularly in infrastructure development. In January 2023, he was elevated to the position of Minority Chief Whip, a testament to his leadership and commitment.
He previously served as the Vice Chairman and Ranking Member of the Roads and Transport Committee, where he provided diligent oversight and contributed to significant discussions on road safety, inclusive building standards, and environmentally sustainable construction. Hon. Agbodza was also a member of the Environment, Science and Technology Committee, among others.
