The New Patriotic Party (NPP) says it successfully conducted constituency executive elections in245 out of its 276 constituencies, representing an88.7 per centsuccess rate.

In an update issued by the party's General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP said the elections were conducted peacefully in the 245 constituencies.

According to the statement, elections in23 constituencieswere put on hold due to various disputes.

The party also disclosed thatfour constituencieswere unable to hold elections because of last-minute challenges. They areNingo Prampram, Atwima Mponua, Obuasi West and Trobu.

The statement further indicated that theNational Steering Committeewill review election activities in four constituencies:Afigya Sekyere East, Adansi Asokwa, Bantama and Asante Akyem Central.

The NPP said its National Secretariat remains committed to resolving all outstanding issues to ensure the successful completion of the constituency executive election process.

The party also expressed appreciation to its members for what it described as their commitment, discipline and support, which contributed to the successful conduct of the elections.
