MTN Ghana has donated assorted drinks, food items, a ram and momo donation of GHC 10,000.00 to the Northern Regional Imam in Tamale as Muslims complete the annual Ramadan fasting in the coming days.
Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr to mark the successful completion of the month-long Ramadan fasting, a feast that MTN Ghana has supported for many years by donating to the Muslim community.

Acting Regional Manager who led the team, Mohammed Shayawu, said the donation is their way to show love and commitment to the Muslim community.
We are here to share in the happy celebration of our Muslim brothers. It is a season of happiness as they have gone through a month of fasting and is something we have been doing every year to affirm our appreciations for the support, patronage and loyalty to MTN.
Mohammed Shayawu took the opportunity to advices customers of MTN Ghana to be weary of the activities of fraudster who pose as workers of MTN to demand their pins.
I urge our many customers to be weary of fraudsters, it is not everyone who calls you and claim to be a staff of MTN that you should believe and give out your vital information. MTN staff will call you with the number 0244300000 only and aside this number it’s fraud.

Representing the regional Chief Imam, the secretary, Alhaji Abdulai Habib Mohammed expressed gratitude to MTN Ghana for the kind gesture and prayed for God’s blessings for the telecom giant to expand.
We are grateful to you and wish to thank MTN and it’s staff for the donation. This is not the first time and it has become an annual affair. We are praying that Allah will bless your company, so that it will flourish and expand so that you will become beneficial to the the people of Ghana.

The items included soft drinks, cooking oil, bottled water and bags of rice. Meanwhile, MTN Ghana had made similar donations to Regional Chief Imams in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi.
