The Vice President of Ghana, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has extended warm Ramadan greetings to Muslims across the country, calling for peace, strength, and renewed faith during the holy month.
In a message to mark the sacred period, the Vice President conveyed “Ramadan Mubarak” to all Muslim brothers and sisters in Ghana, describing the season as a time of reflection, sacrifice, and compassion.

She prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the faithful and urged unity and spiritual renewal throughout the fasting period.
As part of her support for the Muslim community, the Vice President made a donation of essential items to the Cape Coast Central Mosque.
The items were presented on her behalf by Kwamena Minta Nyarku, Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North Constituency, together with his team.

The gesture, she noted, is intended to bring comfort and ease to families as they observe the fast and engage in prayer and charitable acts.
Ramadan is a significant period in the Islamic calendar, marked by fasting, devotion, and acts of generosity.
The Vice President’s message and donation underscore the government’s recognition of the spiritual importance of the month and its commitment to promoting inclusivity and national solidarity.
