Accra, February 27, 2025 – The Ghana Hajj Task Force has officially set March 13, 2025, as the final deadline for the payment of the 2025 Hajj package.
The Task Force has emphasized that no extensions will be granted, urging both prospective pilgrims and Hajj agents to comply with this directive in the supreme interest of all.
The decision follows directives from the Ministry of Hajj and Umra Affairs of Saudi Arabia, aimed at ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated pilgrimage process.
The Task Force is encouraging all prospective pilgrims and accredited agents to expedite payments and complete all necessary preparatory procedures within the stipulated time.
As part of efforts to facilitate a seamless Hajj experience, the Task Force has introduced measures to assist fully paid pilgrims in acquiring passports with ease.
Hajj agents are strongly advised to take advantage of this initiative to streamline the process for their clients.
In a move to make the pilgrimage more affordable, the 2025 Hajj package fee has been reduced from GHC 75,000 to GHC 62,000, offering much-needed financial relief to potential pilgrims.
The Task Force reiterated its commitment to providing world-class services to ensure that all Ghanaian pilgrims experience a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling journey.
