The Ashanti Regional Minister-designate, Dr. Frank Amoakohene has pledged to prioritise the completion of stalled projects initiated by both the NPP and NDC in the region if approved by Parliament.
Residents of the Ashanti Region have expressed optimism about his appointment, praising his youthful energy and potential to bring renewed hope to the region.
Speaking to Channel One News, Dr. Amoakohene expressed his readiness to align his efforts with the President’s vision while courting the necessary support to complete abandoned projects.
“We touched on many projects when we were in power, and I will seek the President’s help to complete them, including those started by the previous administration. Our focus will be on finishing existing projects before initiating new ones,” he stated.
He emphasised his commitment to executing the NDC’s “People’s Manifesto” in the Ashanti Region and strengthen the party’s presence and deliver tangible development.
Dr. Amoakohene also called on chiefs, youth, and other stakeholders to support his agenda for regional progress.
“I want people to see me as one of them. If you’re older, see me as your son or younger brother. If I make mistakes, approach me without fear so I can correct them. Together, we will reach the destination we all envision,” he added.
