The Northern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Ali Adolf, has assured party supporters that no form of intimidation will deter them from exercising their right to vote and safeguarding the ballot in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at a gathering of party faithful in the Northern Region, Mr. Adolf emphasized the NDC’s resilience and commitment to protecting the democratic process.
No amount of intimidation can prevent us from casting our votes or protecting the ballot, he declared.
Mr. Adolf reiterated that the NDC is a law-abiding political party that seeks to maintain peace at all voting centers.
However, he issued a stern warning to individuals or groups planning to cause trouble, cautioning that such actions will not be tolerated.
He also reminded security agencies, including the police and military, to remain neutral, stressing that the NDC cannot be intimidated by any entity.
The chairman expressed optimism about the party’s prospects in the elections, particularly in the eastern corridors of the region.
He attributed the anticipated strong support to the numerous developmental projects initiated by the NDC in the area, which, he said, have earned the trust and loyalty of the people.
Mr. Adolf’s remarks come as political activities intensify ahead of the elections, with the NDC expressing confidence in securing victory.
