Ghanaian music superstar Shatta Wale is under investigation after his flashy Lamborghini Urus was linked to a high-profile $4 million fraud case in the United States.
EOCO confirmed that the luxury car, which the artiste publicly flaunted on social media, is considered proceeds of crime connected to Nana Kwabena Amuah, a Ghanaian currently serving time in the US.
The celebrated dancehall artiste was interrogated for several hours at EOCO’s head office and later granted bail of GHC10 million.
According to investigators, Shatta Wale could not provide valid proof of purchase, admitting he bought the vehicle from an unidentified individual nicknamed “Zak.”
