The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sagnarigu Constituency, Hon. Atta Issah, has expressed profound gratitude to former President John Dramani Mahama for nominating Mr. Abdulai Imoro Gong as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Sagnarigu Municipal Assembly.

In a statement issued shortly after the announcement, Hon. Issah described the nomination as a joyous and significant moment for the people of Sagnarigu, noting that Mr. Gong’s selection is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the party and the constituency.

“I received the news of the nomination of Mr. Abdulai Imoro Gong, the current Sagnarigu Constituency Treasurer, as the MCE for the Sagnarigu Municipal Assembly with great excitement and joy,” the MP stated.

He commended former President Mahama for the confidence reposed in Mr. Gong, saying the nomination reflects the former President’s commitment to rewarding loyalty and competence within the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Hon. Issah expressed strong optimism that Mr. Gong will bring his leadership experience to bear in his new role and effectively oversee the implementation of government projects and programmes in the municipality.

“It is my vehement hope that Mr. Abdulai Imoro Gong will bring his vast leadership experience to bear in his new role and ensure the smooth and successful implementation of all government developmental projects and programs in our dear Municipal Assembly,” he said.

The MP, on behalf of the people of Sagnarigu, congratulated Mr. Gong and thanked the former President for what he described as an honour done to the constituency.
