The Minority Leader in the Parliament of Ghana, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, joined the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, to celebrate and bid farewell to staff of the Parliamentary Service of Ghana who retired or exited the institution between 2023 and 2025.
The ceremony was held to honour the contributions of the departing staff members who served in various capacities within the Parliamentary Service over the years.
During the event, the leadership of Parliament commended the retirees for their dedication and commitment to supporting the work of the legislature and strengthening Ghana’s democratic governance.
The occasion also provided an opportunity for Parliament’s leadership and colleagues to express appreciation to the retiring staff for their years of service and to wish them well in their future endeavours.
The Parliamentary Service plays a key role in supporting the administrative and technical functions of Parliament, ensuring the effective operation of legislative activities in the country.
