New Patriotic Party Presidential Hopeful, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, has stated that four months into his campaign to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming presidential primaries, the party’s spirit has been reactivated by his candidacy.

Addressing party delegates in Afigya Sekyere East on Saturday, January 24, Dr Acheampong urged members to unite behind his candidacy to enable the NPP reclaim political power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2028 general elections.

He said his engagements across the country indicate a renewed sense of confidence and enthusiasm within the party.

“When I first went to the polling stations, I noticed some hesitation and issues that needed to be addressed. However, on my second visit, I saw a clear change in the atmosphere. Over the past four months, I have witnessed a renewed spirit, energy, and enthusiasm among party members,” he said.

Dr Acheampong was speaking as he concluded day two of the second leg of his campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, where he met delegates in the Afigya Sekyere East and Kwabre East constituencies.
