Honourable Ibrahim Mutala Mohammed, Member of Parliament for the Tamale Central Constituency, has commissioned a health clinic at Sakasaka to provide quality healthcare services to his constituents.

This marks the fourth clinic he has inaugurated in the constituency, underscoring his commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Honourable Mutala Mohammed highlighted his dedication to holistic healthcare improvement.

I don’t just build clinic structures; I ensure they are fully equipped to serve the people. This has been achieved without relying on the common fund, he stated.

The MP further revealed his efforts to address the human resource gap in healthcare by sponsoring students to pursue nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, and medicine.

In addition to healthcare facilities, the MP has prioritized access to potable water. Through collaboration with Islamic NGOs, he has commissioned 82 mechanized boreholes across the constituency, providing clean drinking water to residents.

Dr. Seidu Abubakari Barikisu, the Metro Health Director, lauded Honourable Mutala Mohammed for his contributions to healthcare.

She assured that the new clinic will be effectively utilized by healthcare professionals to serve the community.

The clinic is expected to enhance healthcare delivery for the people of Sakasaka and surrounding areas, further cementing the MP’s legacy of development and service.
