The Presidency has announced that President John Dramani Mahama will commence a nationwide Thank You Tour in the Volta Region on Friday, January 24, 2025.

This tour aims to express gratitude to Ghanaians for their overwhelming support and trust during the 2024 general elections.

In a press statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson to the President, the event in the Volta Region will include a grand durbar of chiefs, queen mothers, opinion leaders, religious leaders, members of labor unions, and key representatives from the informal sector.

The gathering is expected to celebrate citizens’ contributions to national development while strengthening the bond between the President and the people.

The Presidency highlighted President Mahama’s swift action in fulfilling his campaign promises, citing his historic feat of announcing a full cabinet within two weeks of assuming office.

This, according to the statement, underscores his commitment to effective governance and addressing pressing national challenges.

The statement called on all Ghanaians to join in unity, pride, and celebration during this significant occasion, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in building the nation.

The Thank You Tour will span all regions in the country as President Mahama acknowledges the invaluable support of citizens in his journey to reset Ghana’s development agenda.

“Together, we will build the Ghana we want,” the statement concluded.
